- Wondering how to finance your college expenses? Students need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA) immediately, if they have not already done so, for the 2008-2009 academic year. Students must reapply as early as January of each year, to determine financial aid eligibility for the following academic year. Early application may qualify students for additional limited sources of aid available on a first-come, first-served basis. APPLY EARLY!!!
AND
- EDUCATION PLANS:
-
NEW STUDENTS who have no prior college history from any school are not required to have an Education Plan to be processed for financial aid, but are strongly advised to obtain an Education Plan from a counselor prior to the start of the spring term and submit a copy to the Financial Aid Department.
-
RETURNING STUDENTS and/or students who have attended other colleges are required to obtain an Education Plan from a counselor. Students who have attended college elsewhere and/or who have served in the military will need to bring transcripts of these records (copies of documents) with them when meeting with the counselor to develop the education plan. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable. DON'T WAIT!!!! Peak Counseling times are in the Summer months of June through August, so plan ahead and see a counselor during the off-season!!
