MICHAEL STEWART - Head Coach : (Bio) :

I'm a graduate of Victor Valley High School and completed my education at the University of Phoenix where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration. I have been fortunate enough to be associated with two exceptional coaches throughout my playing career. Coach Ollie Butler, who I played 3 years for and earned all-League and all-CIF honors, and Coach Bob Boyd, the legendary USC and Mississipi State coach, whom I played for at Riverside Community College earning player of the year honors. These two gentlemen are my mentors to whom I owe a great deal of my successes in life, along with my mother and father who supported me and guided me in the right direction, along with prayer. I continued my education and my basketball career at the University of Alaska, earning Great Northwest conference Player of the Year honors. I had a brief tour in Portugal, Spain before sustaining a career-ending knee injury. I worked Law Enforcement for 8 years in the State of Arizona. I then pursued coaching at Silver Valley High School in Yermo for 3 years. I was fortunate enough to have coached and mentored former New Jersey Nets and now Milwaukee Bucks superstar Richard Jefferson. I coached at Hesperia High School for the past 3 years. I have continued to participate in basketball camps and attend various coaches' clinics. I currently live in Hesperia and I have been with my best friend and my soul mate for the past 10 years. I have 3 children: Ricky (19), Shanice (16) and Danielle (13).

MICHAEL LILLARD - Assistant Coach : (Bio) :

I graduated from Victor Valley High School and continued my education at Azusa Pacific University where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Development. I was born in Champaign, Illinois and have lived in Victorville since 1983. I have been coaching basketball for 10 years. I have always believed that preparation always prevails on and off the court. I am here to learn from who I feel is one of the most knowledgeable coaches I have had the pleasure of knowing and I want the women's program to rise to its potential and re-invent a much deserving wheel of female talent in the High Desert. Our kids come first. I have been married to my wife Samantha for 14 years. I have 3 children: J.J. (17), Taylor (13) and Preslee (5). I love to shower them with everything we can as long as they show gratitude and continue to give us their best.
